Gifu environmental consideration business establishment(E factory)

This is a system to register and open business installations which have passed the environmental consideration standards set by Gifu prefecture as a part of the Gifu environmental consideration for business installations.
Tajimi factory was one of the 59 business installations initially registered followed by Mitake and Mizunami factories.
The registration was renewed for Tajimi factory in April 2018 and for Mitake and Mizunami factories in April 2019

For lead-free

Regarding materials in all our products they are lead-free (Terminal: tin 100% plating), in accordance with WEEE & RoHS and ELV directives.
We don’t use the following items (cadmium, hexavalent chrome, lead, mercury, PBB, or PBDE).
However, chip resistors do contain lead (lead oxide:PbO) as a part of the glass components, it corresponds to [Glass contains lead for electrical components] an exemption of RoHS, ELV and ANNEXII directives.

W.E.E.E. Directive
(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)

This is the directive on waste of electrical and electrical equipment [Home Appliance Recycling Law] in Japan.
This directive obligates manufacturers to collect and recycle used equipment.
It requests manufacturers to separate their collection system, for the purpose of reducing quantity and the toxicity of applicable product’s waste.

RoHS Directive
(Restriction on the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment)

The directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment
The restricted substances are lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chrome, PBB, and PBDE.

ELV Directive
(End of Vehicle Life)

This is the directive on the end of life for automotive products. It prevents the use of certain heavy metals such as cadmium, lead, mercury and hexavalent chromium.
